Xiaomi has temporarily suspended the HyperOS 3 update rollout for the POCO F7 in both Global and Indian markets. The update was initially released as a partial rollout only for beta testers, but due to multiple critical issues reported by users, Xiaomi has now rolled back the update and started preparing new fixed builds.
This move confirms that the company is taking user feedback seriously before pushing the update to the public.
POCO F7 HyperOS 3 Rollout Status (Before Suspension)
Before the suspension, the HyperOS 3 update based on Android 16 was released in limited numbers for testing:
Global Update Details
- Version: 3.0.3.0.WOLMIXM
- Size: 7.2 GB
- Type: Partial Release (Beta Testers Only)
India Update Details
- Version: 3.0.2.0.WOLINXM
- Size: 7.0 GB
- Type: Partial Release (Beta Testers Only)
These builds were never released for the general public and were meant only for early testing under the POCO beta program.
Why Xiaomi Rolled Back the POCO F7 HyperOS 3 Update
According to multiple user reports from beta testers, the update suffered from serious performance-related problems, which forced Xiaomi to halt the wider release. The most common issues reported include:
- Overheating problems
- Performance drops and lag
- Poor battery optimization
- Bugs related to specific apps
Due to these issues, Xiaomi decided to pull back both the India and Global builds to avoid damaging the user experience.
New HyperOS 3 Builds Spotted on Xiaomi Servers (POCO F7)
Xiaomi is already working on new fixed HyperOS 3 builds, which strongly suggests the update will return very soon. Here are the latest spotted server builds:
- Indonesia: OS3.0.1.0.WOLIDXM
- EEA (Europe): OS3.0.1.0.WOLEUXM
- Taiwan: OS3.0.0.4.WOLTWXM
- Russia: OS3.0.0.4.WOLRUXM
- India (New): OS3.0.2.1.WOLINXM
- Global (New): OS3.0.3.1.WOLMIXM
These are refined replacement builds, and they are expected to fix the overheating, battery drain, and performance issues found in the previous beta versions.
Expected Re-Release Timeframe
As per current server activity and internal testing progress:
- The new stable HyperOS 3 update for POCO F7 is expected to roll out in the first week of December
- The upcoming builds are also expected to include the November Android security patch
- The rollout will again start with Global users, followed by India and other regions
The suspension of the HyperOS 3 update for POCO F7 may be disappointing, but it is a necessary step to ensure long-term stability and performance. Xiaomi is actively testing new builds, and the presence of updated versions on its servers confirms that a fixed and optimized HyperOS 3 update is coming very soon.
Users are strongly advised not to install unofficial or leaked builds and wait for the official OTA rollout in December for the best experience.
