Xiaomi is getting close to rolling out the much-awaited HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. While the standard Xiaomi 14 has already started receiving HyperOS 3 updates in Global and European regions, attention has now shifted to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is next in line.
Xiaomi has officially promised that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will receive the HyperOS 3 update in December, and multiple upcoming builds have already been prepared on Xiaomi’s servers. As with other major releases, the update is expected to roll out first to Mi Pilot testers, followed by a wider public release.
HyperOS 3 Will Bring Android 16 and Major Performance Upgrades
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s upcoming update will be based on Android 16, bringing one of the biggest system upgrades for the device since launch. According to early information, the update will significantly improve:
- System animations and overall UI smoothness
- Battery life through smarter power optimization
- CPU and GPU performance for heavy usage and gaming
- Background app management and memory handling
In addition to performance upgrades, the HyperOS 3 update is also expected to include the November 2025 Android Security Patch, further strengthening system security and protection against vulnerabilities.

Multiple HyperOS 3 builds for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra have already appeared on Xiaomi’s internal update servers, clearly indicating that the rollout is now in its final preparation stage. The currently spotted builds include:

- Europe (EEA): OS3.0.0.2.WNAEUXM (Android 16)
- Global: OS3.0.4.1.WNAMIXM (Android 16)

The presence of multiple global and European builds strongly suggests that Xiaomi is preparing for a near-simultaneous release across major international markets.
Expected Rollout Regions and Availability
At the moment, Xiaomi has only prepared HyperOS 3 builds for China, Global, and European regions. No builds have yet been spotted for India, Russia, Indonesia, or other regional variants. This means the first rollout is most likely to begin in:
- China
- Europe (EEA)
- Global markets
Once the Mi Pilot testing phase is completed and stability is confirmed, Xiaomi is expected to expand the rollout to additional regions in the following weeks.
