Xiaomi has started rolling out the latest HyperOS 2.0.204.0 update for the Redmi Note 13 5G and POCO X6 Neo 5G models in India. The main highlight of this update is full fledged app opening and closing animations on the devices which was missing previously.
The latest update on the Redmi Note 13 5G and POCO X6 Neo 5G is rolling out with HyperOS 2.0.204.0 version in India with July 2025 Android security patch level. The size of the update is 1.2GB and it brings several new features such as New LockScreen Shortcuts feature, New LockScreen clock template, & ability to customise status bar icons etc. The new update is still in beta phase and it will be rolled out for all the users over the coming weeks in India.
Lots of Redmi and POCO models in India/Globally don’t have app opening/closing animations and control center blur feature but finally the brand has started rolling out the latest HyperOS 2.2 based updates for some selected budget phones that solved the problem. These animations look modern and make UI more interactive.
The latest HyperOS 2.2 brings several optimizations for Xiaomi, Redmi, & POCO models in India such as better animations and new features. Redmi Note 13 5G/POCO X6 Neo 5G is one of them. Actually, these models are only budget devices that got these animations through the latest update in India and users are quite satisfied after installing the update on their devices.
Also, the same update on the Redmi Note 13 5G/POCO X6 Neo 5G enables circle to search feature which can be located under Settings/Home Screen/Gestures and it’s working perfectly fine. The HyperOS 2.2 updates are quite late in India and other models are still waiting for the update such as POCO F7 and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
