POCO has started rolling out another HyperOS 3 update for the POCO F7 in the global market. This is the second OTA update based on HyperOS 3 for the device and comes shortly after the first major rollout that introduced the new operating system.
The new update is currently being released under the Mi Pilot testing program, which means it is still in the beta phase. However, if no critical issues are reported, Xiaomi is expected to expand the rollout to stable users within the next 7 to 10 days.
POCO F7 Second HyperOS 3 Update Details (Global)
The latest update for the POCO F7 carries the following build information:
- Version: 3.0.4.0.WOLMIXM
- Update Size: 100MB
- Security Patch: November 2025
- Release Type: Mi Pilot (Beta Release)

Since this is a small-sized OTA update, it mainly focuses on system-level refinements rather than major visual or feature changes.
What’s New in This Update
This new build is aimed at fixing bugs and performance issues that were reported in the first HyperOS 3 update (OS3.0.3.0). Many users experienced minor stability problems after the initial rollout, and this update works as a corrective patch to smooth out the overall user experience.
In addition to bug fixes, the update also integrates the Android November 2025 Security Patch, which further strengthens system protection against vulnerabilities and improves overall device safety. Security patches are a critical part of software maintenance, and this update ensures the POCO F7 remains protected with the latest security enhancements.
Other expected improvements include better background app behavior, improved system stability, and minor performance optimizations for everyday usage.
Rollout Status and What Users Should Do
At the moment, this update is limited to Mi Pilot users only, meaning only selected testers can install it right now. Once Xiaomi confirms that the update is stable and free from major bugs, a wider public rollout will begin automatically for all global users.
If you are part of the Mi Pilot program, you can check for the update by going to:
Settings > About Phone > System Update
Before installing, users should ensure that the battery level is above 50 percent and that sufficient storage space is available. Backing up important data is also recommended as a safety measure.
With this second HyperOS 3 update for the POCO F7, Xiaomi is actively working to refine system performance and fix early-stage bugs from the first rollout. The inclusion of the November 2025 Android Security Patch further strengthens device security and software reliability.
If you are not seeing the update yet, don’t worry. The stable rollout for wider users is expected very soon.
