The Xiaomi 17, which was officially launched earlier in China, is now moving closer to an international debut. The smartphone has been spotted on both the NBTC and BIS certification databases, a key development that strongly indicates Xiaomi’s plans to introduce the device in India as well as other global markets. The Xiaomi 17 has started appearing on certification platforms, hinting at an upcoming international launch. The flagship smartphone was recently spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) database with the model number 25113PN0E1, suggesting that an India launch is in the pipeline.

It has also surfaced on the NBTC certification website, where it carries the model number 25113PN0EG, further pointing toward Xiaomi’s preparations for a wider global rollout.

While the listings do not reveal detailed specifications, they confirm regional approvals, hinting that an official announcement for the India and global launch could be made in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi 17: Full Specifications and Features (China Variant)

The Xiaomi 17 debuted in China as a compact flagship smartphone, combining top-tier performance with a refined design and advanced hardware. At its core, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring ultra-fast performance and seamless multitasking. To maintain sustained performance, Xiaomi has equipped the phone with a 3D ring-shaped cold pump cooling system.

On the front, the Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a 2656×1220 resolution, built using TCL Huaxing M10 luminescent material. The panel supports a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and reaches a peak brightness of 3500 nits. Protection is handled by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass, with ultra-slim 1.18mm bezels on all four sides, delivering an immersive viewing experience.

In the camera department, the smartphone houses a 50MP front camera (OV50M, 1/2.88″) for selfies and video calls. On the rear, it sports a triple-camera setup, led by a 50MP LightHunter 950 main sensor (1/1.31″, f/1.67, OIS, 13.5EV dynamic range). This is complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide camera (OV50M, f/2.24) and a 50MP telephoto lens (Samsung S5KJN5, f/2.0, OIS) that supports floating focus for enhanced zoom and macro photography.

Powering the device is a large 7000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, supporting 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Charging efficiency and battery health are managed by the Pengpai P3 fast-charging chip and Pengpai G2 battery management chip.

Despite the massive battery, the Xiaomi 17 maintains a slim profile at 8.06mm thickness and weighs 191 grams. It is available in Snow Mountain Pink, Black, White, and Ice Melt Blue color options.

Connectivity and multimedia features include Wi-Fi 7 R2, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps), infrared remote control, dual stereo speakers, a four-microphone array, an X-axis linear motor, and advanced signal optimization via Xiaomi T1 & T1P signal booster chips, along with four mid- and high-frequency antennas and an independent Bluetooth antenna.

For durability, the Xiaomi 17 comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, offering high-level protection against dust and water.
