The POCO F7 Pro running the OS3.0.4.0.WOKMIXM HyperOS 3 build is currently affected by incorrect frame-rate settings, which has caused noticeable performance issues for many users. These incorrect parameters lead to unexpected frame drops, stutters, and reduced smoothness in games and system animations.
Xiaomi has identified the issue and confirmed the cause as misconfigured frame-rate settings within the current firmware. The status has now been officially updated, and the company has announced that the problem will be fully fixed in the next OTA update for the device. Until that update arrives, Xiaomi has deployed a temporary cloud-control solution, which applies corrective adjustments remotely without the need for users to manually install anything.
Thanks to this cloud-side fix, POCO F7 Pro users should already see partial improvement in performance while waiting for the complete patch. The temporary solution helps stabilize frame behavior, but the full fix will only arrive with the next software update, which Xiaomi is preparing.
Users are advised to keep checking the System Updater for new firmware once Xiaomi begins the phased rollout. After the next update, the POCO F7 Pro should return to normal performance levels with corrected frame-rate handling and smoother overall operation.
