Xiaomi has already begun rolling out the Global HyperOS 3 update based on Android 16, bringing several new features focused on customization, visual experience, privacy, and performance. Interestingly, Redmi 13 5G became one of the first devices in India to receive the update—despite being a super budget-friendly phone. This early rollout confirmed one major highlight: Hyper Island is finally coming to Xiaomi phones after two years of anticipation.
Hyper Island is Xiaomi’s new interactive pill-style element that appears at the top of the screen. It can show live activities and tools like music controls, hotspot status, timer, torch, notifications, and more—making it one of the most useful visual additions in HyperOS 3.
But the biggest question users have is: Which Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices will get Hyper Island?
Since Redmi 13 5G already received this feature, we now have a good idea of which models are expected to support it in December 2025 and through 2026.
Below is the expected list of Xiaomi devices that may receive the Hyper Island feature with the HyperOS 3 update.

This is NOT the official list of devices guaranteed to receive the Hyper Island feature. Xiaomi is currently releasing HyperOS 3 with Android 16 for selected devices, while others may only get HyperOS 3 with Android 15, which might not include Hyper Island.
However, based on the rollout pattern and supported hardware capabilities, these listed devices have a high probability of receiving Hyper Island in upcoming updates.
