Poco appears to be gearing up for the global introduction of its next premium mid-range smartphone. The upcoming Poco X8 Pro has reportedly been spotted in Singapore’s IMDA certification database, offering another strong indication that the company is preparing for an international rollout in the coming months.
This development follows a series of regulatory approvals, suggesting that Poco’s next X-series device is moving steadily toward an official debut outside China. The handset is widely believed to be the global version of the Redmi Turbo 5, which is expected to launch first in the Chinese market.
Poco X8 Pro IMDA Certification Details
According to the listing, the Poco X8 Pro is equipped with the model number 2511FPC34G, which has now been spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification platform. The inclusion of the letter “G” in the model number clearly indicates that this is a global variant, reinforcing expectations of wider international availability beyond China.
The IMDA certification further confirms that the Poco X8 Pro will support essential connectivity features, including 5G network compatibility, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC, making it well-equipped for modern usage across global markets.

Before appearing on the IMDA database, the Poco X8 Pro had already secured regulatory approvals from BIS (India), SGS, and EEC (Europe). These multiple certifications strongly suggest that Poco is in the final stages of launch preparations and that the official announcement may not be far away.
Expected Specifications and Features
Leaks and early reports suggest that the Poco X8 Pro could offer flagship-level hardware in the premium mid-range segment. The device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor, delivering solid performance for gaming and multitasking.
On the front, the smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.6-inch flat AMOLED LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, promising smooth visuals and sharp clarity. Poco is also rumored to include a metal frame, enhancing durability and a premium in-hand feel.
One of the biggest highlights could be the battery. The Poco X8 Pro is said to pack a massive battery rated above 8,000mAh, though some regions may receive a slightly smaller 6,500mAh unit. Fast charging is expected to remain impressive, with support for 100W wired fast charging.
