The POCO X7 Pro is once again in the headlines as Xiaomi prepares a new and improved HyperOS 3 update for the device. Just last week, the company released the first HyperOS 3 build for European users, but the rollout was limited and meant only for selected testers. Unfortunately, the early release didn’t perform well, leading to widespread user complaints.
The initial update rolled out in Europe included the following details:
- Version: 3.0.2.0.WOJEUXM
- Size: 6.5GB
- Type: Partial Release
This release was intended to be the first stable HyperOS 3 experience for the POCO X7 Pro. However, many beta testers immediately reported severe heating issues, random lags, slowdowns, and performance drops. Some users also noted battery drain and UI stutters, making the update unsuitable for daily use.
Because of these critical issues, Xiaomi has officially rolled back the update. This means the initial version has been withdrawn from servers, and no further users will receive it. The development team is now actively working on a new HyperOS 3 version that fixes all major bugs and improves system stability.
The upcoming build is expected to bring:
- Fixes for heating and performance issues
- Optimized animations and system smoothness
- Better battery usage
- Improved background app management
- Latest November 2025 Android Security Patch, enhancing system protection
Once testing is complete, the new HyperOS 3 update will roll out first to a small batch of users for verification. If stable, Xiaomi will release it widely across Europe and then in other global regions.
The POCO X7 Pro remains one of the most anticipated devices for the HyperOS 3 upgrade. While the first attempt had serious problems, Xiaomi’s quick response and rollback show that the company is committed to delivering a polished and reliable firmware. Users can expect the new HyperOS 3 update to arrive soon, possibly within the coming days, packed with major fixes and security improvements.
